i believe in love as a practice, but what if i shouldn’t always get better? but then again, who is any Man to judge the weight of another’s Soul? what if i just can’t sit there and deny my love three times? what if i just can’t stand at the funeral pyre that the world has built for my love, and watch the people and the flames gather, to take their price and their flight? what if i just can’t watch my love choke on the blood and bleed from the side? is the only other option to just walk away? i don’t think anyone should have to beg for salvation from inside this brazen bull.
